2009-Frosty-Tigger

            Frosty was my (owner's Wes Christopher's wording) pick of the litter pup from Woody's last natural breeding. I was very impressed with her dam Monday. Monday had gotten a qualifying JAM at the age of three for her owner, professional trainer Amy Dahl. Monday had also produced a very nice puppy in an earlier breeding to Woody. Frosty was born an ash color that made her look frosted. It is similar to the color seen in the very controversial "silver" Labradors so I often spoke of her as my "silverpeake". She has matured to a light tan color. Frosty is a good marker, hard running with a big water entry. She is very good looking and will be shown. Her litter brother Crooked Oak Crazy Train is currently running Qualifying and is expected to be competitive at the All-Age level.   Frosty is high energy, very affectionate with those she knows but reserved with strangers.

            These puppies should have lots of talent for field work and hunting. Frosty's background is mostly field and hunting with some conformation titles. Tigger should bring his usual good looking puppies to this breeding and his ability to please. Although Frosty is reserve, Tigger is very outgoing. Puppies should be pleasant to train and eager to work.

		I wanted to let you know that we have given Mr. Green his name, it will be Treasure Lakes, Muskingum Valley Murphy, also he had a well check today and 1 shot , all went well. We had him at a lakeside yesterday and he really enjoyed it. He's had a couple of mishaps, but that is to be expected in a new environment. So far, so good ...... 3/23/2009

Miss Yellow Miss Yellow is going to live with her mom Frosty in Virginia.
I really like the pup. I was looking her over yesterday. She seemed less lengthy to me than she did when I first picked her up. I have been calling her Rio but not sure what to do with it in AKC name terms. She retrieved very nicely for me on our walk yesterday, she seems much more tractable than Derby. 3/21/2009		Mr. Orange, aren't I cute.
