2015-Raven-Tigger

Raven is like a big mac truck in size but very gentle in attitude. Beautiful dead grass color She sure is a sweety. She now has both majors toward her championship and only need two more points to finish, she will have to do that after weening this litter. She's a big bone girl, everyone always comments on how big she looks. She has the drive and desire to please and is always happy. She travels well, enjoys new adventures and loves to learn. But she's always the sweet nature, goofy puppy at heart. Raven got hurt falling out of trailer as a young dog and although it didn't bother her much we did an xray of her hips when she was better, it looked ok to the vet but because of a small bump he felt might turn into arthritis he wasn't sure of her passing ofa. I had an appointment scheduled for her to have her hips xrayed to submit to ofa and the vet had a family emergency and was away for a month. Then she came into season and because I really wanted a puppy from her and she's getting too old to miss another season I bred her. So I will be doing her hips after she recovers from having puppies because I didn't want to xray while pregnant. Ravens sire has an ofa of excellent and her dams hips ofa are good. One of her littermates has a good rating and the other with the xray taken by the local vet has a fair rating. I'm still giving her litter my normal guarantee but will under stand if anyone wants to pass up this litter and wait for my next one.

This will be my first litter with Tigger since he passed away. He was an amazing dog and produced some very nice offspring. You can read all about his many accomplishments from his show championship, his master hunter title, to his many titled offspring on his page under memorials. I'm exciting to have the opportunite to once again have a tigger daughter. Falcon my favorite is a tigger daughter and I hope he produces something as exciting to work with as she has been.

Tigger was a big brown dog with tons of enthusiasm for everything he was asked to do. He loved to show in the conformation ring and hunt in the field. Field Trials were his passion, he loved running the long marks and blinds. He's was very easy to train for blinds because he thought he's was a black labrador, always willing to do it your way over and over again, just so he could playing any game. He was always more then happy at hunt tests because the marks were so close he could almost catch them and it didn't take him long at all to pick up all the marks and he was always looking for more. His puppies and grand puppies are doing well in the field, agility ring and show ring. One of his puppies "Ringer" has points in field trial derby's. "Falcon" is the first and only Champion, Masters of Agility Champion, Master Hunter in breed history. Tigger loved to baby sit the puppies and he gets along with all dogs he meets, girls or boys. On sunny warm days you would always find him sleeping on the back porch with a whole litter of puppies all around him. He was a very happy, happy boy and just loved being in the house close to everyone. Tigger loved to play with the new puppies or just sit on the back porch watching them play games. He was such a gentle boy with small puppies. He never met a dog he didn't want to play with. Tiggers DM results are homozygous N/N with two NORMAL copies of the gene associated with Degenerative Myelopathy. So as the study stands right now Tiggers offspring are highly unlikely to get DM or produce it no matter what the dams results are. Tigger is also NORMAL for Exercise Induced Collapse. He passes on his passion for life, his enthusiasm to learn new things, and that great tigger bounce in his step.
